Ada discovers a set of ancient talking drums hidden in the attic. When she plays them, she's transported to a realm where the drums come alive. There, she meets Orunmila, the deity of wisdom, who guides her through a series of riddles and puzzles. Through her interactions with the talking drums, Ada learns about the power of music, communication, and the oral tradition in African cultures.
